RBS supports Manchester Pride with a campaign through Publicis and MediaCom

Publicis London has created an integrated campaign to support RBS’ sponsorship of, and participation in, Manchester Pride 2012 which this year takes a “Queer’d Science” theme.

RBS is again entering a float in the parade, in addition to its support of the event, which has been created with Publicis in conjunction with MediaCom.

The agencies have also created the official 2012 Manchester Pride festival app, as part of RBS’ sponsorship of the festival. The app launches this week for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and on Android from Google Play.

The Royal Bank of Scotland is again running a unique competition to be part of their “Periodic Table” themed float entry in the Manchester Pride Parade. Also built within the app is a “Dress Up” photographic feature which gives people the opportunity to join in on the theme and see how they would look as one of the elements within the Periodic Table.

Other features include information about the site, location of facilities such as box office and wristband exchange, as well as the extensive fringe events and clubs within Manchester’s famous Gay Village. It also features information on the weekend’s entertainment schedule.

RBS is supporting its activity ahead of, during and after the event with press advertising inviting people to win VIP tickets to Pride, digital activity, social media engagement, a presence on the official website and a bespoke Pride landing page on its recruitment site
